An Honest Mistake

1. Lyrically, what do you guys generally write about?
Most of the songs revolve around life and love; relationships mostly. All of which are personal experiences of mine which I feel many will be able to relate to.

2. What is your favourite album of all time?
Darren: They¹re Only Chasing Safety by Underoath
Danny: The Healing of Harms by Fireflight
Leonard: The All American Rejects by The All American Rejects

3. Who would you gauge yourself against as a composer and songwriter?
There are too many good song writers in the world and it¹s so difficult to be able to compare myself to any of them. But if I were to gauge, I would say I try to keep up with Aaron Gillespie of The Almost/Underoath.

4. Who are your personal songwriting heroes?
Aaron Gillespie of The Almost/Underoath. Tim Lambesis of As I Lay Dying

5. Would you choose to satisfy your own artistic integrity before you try to please your fans? Why and how?
It¹s all about having the most fun on stage. If we see the fans singing along and going crazy, we feed off that energy. When we see that happening, then I would have to say that our goal has been achieved; which is pleasing ourselves to please the fans. It¹s a two way thing. I try to write songs that will relate to people because we¹re all normal people at the end of the day.
